In this page you will find information and all resources of the first EECERA Chile Seminar, held at the Centre for Advanced Research in Education (CIAE) of the University of Chile in 2015.

Seminar Name: “Formation, Inclusion, and Teaching Practice in Early Education: Contributions of Applied Research to Public Policy” (“Formación, Inclusión y Práctica Pedagógica en Educación Inicial: Contribuciones de la Investigación Aplicada a la Política Pública”)

Theme & Aims:

EECERA aims to give visibility to themes of early infancy, generate instances of collaboration among different actors that work for infancy and contribute to the public discussion, collaborating with the exchange of perspectives among academics, researchers, teachers and politicians (among other actors). This seminar aimed to present EECERA´s guidelines in Chile, revealing the contributions of scientific evidence on early education to public policy, strengthening the current discussion the country faces regarding Educational Reforms. This through the analysis of scientific evidence in relation to three main themes relevant to public discussion: early training of teachers, inclusion and teaching practices.
